Fleming Orchard is a 42-acre property in Bells, ninety minutes north of Dallas — working orchard, private pond stocked with bass, mature pecan trees, and one of those skies you forget exists when you live in a city.
The main house is 3,800 square feet across four bedrooms, with an open living plan built around a kitchen that has two eating areas and counter space for whoever wants to help. The wrap-around porch is the most-used room in the house; the fire pit is the most-used space in the yard. Built-in surround sound runs indoors and outdoors so the music follows you.
A private pool sits behind the house (unheated — best April through October). Fishing rods, a rowboat, an outdoor griddle, and a smoker are all available. Pears, apples, and blackberries are seasonally yours to pick. Adults and kids alike tend to slow down within a day.
Bookings here are direct — inquire and we’ll respond personally, usually within the hour. The property is also listed on Airbnb if you prefer that workflow.
